Letting GO

I was hovering,

Clinging, feeling
Guilt.

All masks for grief.
I didn’t want to
lose him.

I was holding him
back.

But love prevails.
He’s in my heart.
He’s embraced by the
Sacred Heart
taking him home.

Peace beyond words
descends.

    Beauty beyond (my) words…

When Dad died, Brett said at the age of 12, “If PaGene is in Christ and Christ is in us, then Pa
Gene is in us. (at which time Brett placed his hand over his heart and let it rest there in true peace) He looked deeply into my soul as he spoke this truth. To me Christ Jesus is consciousness embodied in flesh, forgiven humanity and spirituality made concrete. The Holy Spirit is made fuller with the spirit of Joseph Bagby. The man made love while he has been here and he has given it freely without expectation, without possession, and without domination. I will always love him and Almighty God with all my Being forever.

I am praying loving kindness meditation for you by name each day. May you, Barbara, be filled with the Holy Spirit. May you, Barbara be well in mind and in body. May you, Barbara be free of fear both inside and outside. May you be at ease. May God hold you in His loving arms. May you feel your arms around me. Power and love to you.

  3. These words remind me of Hafez: “I once asked a bird, how is it that you fly in this gravity of darkness? She responded, ‘love lifts me.'” Rest in the peace.
